JDFit (the “Service”) is owned and operated by Security Minded Solutions, LLC, a Georgia limited liability company (“SecurityMinded Solutions”, “we”, “us”). These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) cover the website at www.jdfit.io, the JDFit waitlist and, once it launches, the Service itself.
By using the website or joining the waitlist you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the website or join the waitlist.
1. JDFit is not available yet
JDFit is in development. The website describes a product we are building. Product images are labelled “Preview”: they show how JDFit is intended to look, use made-up data and a fictional job board, and may not match what ships. Features described on the website may change, arrive later than planned, or not ship at all. Joining the waitlist does not guarantee access or a launch date. After early access, we expect JDFit to cost $14 a month, and we will tell you before any charge.
2. Who can join
You must be at least 16 years old to join the waitlist or use JDFit. By joining you confirm that you are.
3. The waitlist
- Give accurate information, and only sign up yourself, with an address you control.
- Do not sign up in bulk or with automated tools.
- We may remove any sign-up we reasonably believe is fake, automated or abusive, and we may close the waitlist at any time.
- We may invite some people on the waitlist to use JDFit early. Early access is limited, and joining the waitlist does not guarantee an invitation. Early access may come with its own terms, which we will show you before you start.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- interfere with, overload or attempt to break into the website or its systems;
- scrape the website, or get around rate limits or anti-abuse measures;
- use the website to break any law or to infringe anyone’s rights;
- pretend to be someone else when signing up.
5. What JDFit is, and is not
JDFit is being built to give an honest read of how a resume you provide fits a job description. It will not write or rewrite your resume. Its output will be an automated opinion, not career, legal or hiring advice, and it will not guarantee an interview, an offer or any other outcome. Employers make their own decisions. You stay responsible for what you put on your resume and in your applications.
6. How we use evaluations
Once the Service launches, to run an evaluation you give us a resume and a job description, and we produce an evaluation result. We keep the resumes you provide, the job descriptions you evaluate and the evaluation results (“Evaluation Data”) until you delete your account.
License. You grant SecurityMinded Solutions a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, copy and process Evaluation Data to operate the Service and to improve and test how JDFit scores and analyzes, including review by authorized members of our team under access controls. This license ends when you delete your account.
We do not use Evaluation Data to train AI models, we will never sell it, and we will never use it to write your resume. When you delete your account, we delete your Evaluation Data, including copies kept to improve the Service, within 30 days, including backups. You confirm that you have the right to submit any content you give JDFit.
7. Our content
The website, the JDFit name and logo, and the product design belong to SecurityMinded Solutions. You may link to the website and share it, but you may not copy it or present it as your own. Names of employers and job sites in product previews are fictional; any resemblance to a real organization is unintended.
8. Disclaimers
THE WEBSITE, THE WAITLIST AND ANY EARLY ACCESS ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE WEBSITE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE.
9. Limitation of liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS, SECURITYMINDED SOLUTIONS’S TOTAL LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED US DOLLARS ($100), AND WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, OPPORTUNITIES OR DATA.
10. Ending things
You can leave the waitlist at any time by emailing privacy@securityminded.io. We may suspend or end your access to the website or the waitlist if you break these Terms. Sections 6 to 9 and 11 survive.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Fulton County, Georgia, and you and we consent to their jurisdiction. Nothing here removes rights you have under the consumer protection laws of the place you live.
12. Changes
We will update these Terms before JDFit launches, and may update them at other times. We will post the new version here with a new date and, for material changes that affect you, email you before they take effect. If you keep using the website or stay on the waitlist after a change takes effect, the new Terms apply.
