Summary

I am a cybersecurity practitioner who loves building tools that solve problems.

JDFit started with a pain I know firsthand: looking at a job posting and trying to work out whether I’m actually a good fit. The tools that help with that tend to cost $40 or more a month, and most still hand you a match score without the reasons behind it.

I also know how hard it is for students and veterans to line up a resume with a job description. So JDFit is being built to give an honest read (what a job requires, what it only prefers, and where your resume falls short) at a price people can actually pay, with a lower price for students and service members. It will never write your resume for you.

JDFit is a product of SecurityMinded Solutions, the team behind DeliverTrust and SecurityScout.

Professional background

I began my career in Cybersecurity and IT in 2009, leading communications and network operations teams during combat operations in Iraq. After transitioning out of the U.S. Army in 2012, I earned a Master’s degree in Computer Science and have spent the past decade leading Security, IT, and Compliance teams.
